Boys’ Brigade

We have a long established (formed in 1893) Boys’ Brigade company (the 2nd West Kent) attached to the Church. It is led by Dave Andrews who is assisted by 7 other officers.

The BB company currently has approximately 40 boys from the ages of 5 to 17. Our Youth Co-ordinator Colin Cliff, acts as Chaplain to the company.

The Boys Brigade evenings are made up of Christian teaching, games, figure marching, drill and band parade. They have outings to places of interest, take part in inter-Battalion competitions, weekends away and a Summer camp for the older boys.

It also has a good Parents’ and Friends’ Association which organises various fundraising events throughout the year.
