St John’s annual Weekend Away

What is it?

Each year in October, we take the chance go away as a Church.

What is it for?

The St John’s annual Weekend Away, is time for us as a church family to pray and praise God together, to make new friends and to catch up with old ones in relaxed surroundings.

When is it?

The next St John’s annual Weekend Away, will be on the 10th to 12th of October 2008. It will start on the Friday evening and finish on Sunday afternoon.

Youth

The weekend is a great opportunity for the young people to spend time together and to get to know each other better. They have the opportunity to do a variety of things including participating in the adult sessions as well as having their own Legacy sessions.

Children

The children always have a fantastic time! They can play in the grounds together in a friendly and safe atmosphere. During the main sessions there's a full programme of children’s events, combining activities and teaching in an informal setting.

Crèche

A crèche for the under 3’s is provided during the main sessions.
